The Arctic & Antarctica Blogs

Pushing thru brash ice on WORLD NAVIGATOR November er 2023; Antarctic Peninsula

The Arctic & Antarctica

Since my teens, I had dreamed of Antarctica.  Not exactly sure why, but likely the aspiring Nomad in me looking for an escape from Jersey.  Prior to that adventure, in 2022, I traveled to the North Arctic zone and North of 80-degrees latitude on the Polar expedition ship SH VEGA.  My appetite was whetted.

Follow this space for several blogs on my past - and future - polar expeditions.  Chalo!

Icebergs, SGI

The world cannot live without the Arctic; it affects every living thing on Earth and acts as a virtual thermostat, reflecting sunlight and cooling the planet
